A pedagogical DVD designed to fight against tobacco addiction without putting off the smokers! Designed for youth, it contains ten short and dynamic modules (for now only in French), denouncing tobacco industry scams and manipulations, to encourage a critical mind towards tobacco marketing and Big Tobacco lies. This way of raising citizen consciousness not only encourages healthy habits, but has the advantage of bringing together smokers and non-smokers on grounds reaching far beyond individual behaviour.
In this DVD, insiders having worked for the tobacco industry reveal the strategies used to reinforce the addictiveness of cigarettes, the tactics employed to recruit even more young smokers. You will learn how the industry was able to confound scientists and influence political leaders and even actors. And how today Big Tobacco aims at hooking the poor, especially in developing countries.
