Documentary director, Nadia Collot starts her collaboration with health NGOs with "Marie and her babies", an independant documentary that denounces how overwhelming medicalisation and technicity end up depossessing women of their pregnancies. Then, by making the film "The Tobacco Conspiracy", released in theatres in Europe and Canada and broadcast on television in over 40 countries, she moves to a more global and advocacy-oriented filmmaking, a ”in your face” fight against a most powerful and very particular industry, selling death disguised as freedom to children worldwide. This documentary took 3 years of investigation and includes tobacco industry insiders testimonials denouncing 50 years of lies, frauds and scams set up by Big Tobacco. Activist and freelance filmmaker, Nadia Collot strives for her work to encourage reflection, stimulate resistance and trigger debate in order to make a difference and foster the construction of a fairer world for the coming generations.

Front line fighter, Emmanuelle Beguinot gained a technical know-how on public health on both political and legal plan, especially on many battles against the giants of the tobacco industry. Graduate of the Institute of Political Studies of Paris, with a specialization in local development and a Master in information sciences, Emmanuelle Beguinot joined the fight against tobacco addiction after having worked in Indonesia within the scope of the co-operation. Mission leader, then director of the National committee Against Tobacco addiction (CNCT), her engagement in the fight for health joined that of the fight against industrial epidemics, main current issues of public health and sources of the social and international injustices.

Communication manager at the CNCT and project manager at HealthCam, Christelle is a talented singer but even more ruthless fighter against injustices everywhere in the world, especially where health is concerned.
As a trained medical nurse in the Parisian area, this enthusiastic young woman has managed to overcome enormous challenges in her community and intends to continue, this time at an international level by collaborating with HealthCam.

Claire wishes to bring her knowledge and experience as an entrepreneur to the management and financing of the association, making sure that HealthCam can better achieve and in the largest possible manner the planned objectives. “Getting involved in health prevention also contributes to making my everyday life meaningful”, she adds.
Dr. Annie Sasco, president of HealthCam, is a medical doctor and internationally known epidemiologist. She has dedicated her entire career to the unique study of cancer in a globalized environment. For many years she directed a research unit in the International Research Center on Cancer - World Health Organization in Lyon – and today she manages the Team of Epidemiologists for Cancer Prevention (Inserm U 593) within the Institute of Public Health, Epidemiology and Development in Bordeaux. She is prominently involved in improving health in low-income countries, primarily in Africa. Her lifelong fights have been led courageously and she has withheld the cause of public health against all mercantile interests. Annie’s various interests reflect a humanistic approach to life and preventive approach in medicine. She is especially dedicated to female health, but struggles also for peace, ecology and feminism. In 2005, she was nominated among the 1000 women for the Nobel Peace Prize. To read some of her works...

We carried out a first operation with SOS Tabagisme Niger and its president Inoussa Saouna.
M. Saouna represents HealthCam Niger and he succeeded in changing the
legislative landscape of its country with relentless education and a
strong team of determined advocates. Read the Nigerian law about
tobacco that has come into effect on September 12th 2008, only two and
a half years after the fight was initiated. HealthCam supported the
initiative by giving SOS Tabagisme Niger a digital camera, shooting and
editing counseling and a laptop computer.
He is also secretary-general of the OTAF, the Observatory of Tobacco in French-speaking Africa.
